This Mobile Application
Privacy Notice (“Notice”) applies to users of the Rhinebeck Bank Mobile
Application (the “Mobile App” or “App”).
The terms “Bank”, “we”, “us” and “our” in this Notice refer to Rhinebeck
Bank and its affiliates. This Notice describes how we collect and use
information when you use the Bank’s Mobile App. You may also access the Bank’s

We collect two kinds of
information through the Mobile App, depending on which services you use:
non-personal information and personal information. We collect this data to provide access to the
Mobile App, to process customers’ transactions and requests, to enhance the
quality of our mobile banking services, and to market our products to you.
How do we collect personal
information through the App?
We collect personal
information about you through your mobile devices by the use of cookies and
similar tracking technologies, as well as personal information that you provide
when using our App. For example, you may provide us with information when you
open a new account, register for a new product or service, request information
from the Bank, update your contact information, or complete a survey or form.
At times, the Mobile App may
request access to features or information stored on your mobile device, such as
your camera, contacts, location, and external storage. This access is requested
to enhance your own user experience, and to take advantage of specific services
or features within the App, such as mobile deposits, ATM or branch location
services, providing attachment to secured messages, or using a money transfer
service. Before granting access to this information on your mobile device, you
will be prompted to give the App permission. You may decline to give your
permission if you do not want to allow the App access to this information.
Please note that declining access may impact your ability to use certain
services or features on the App. At any time, you can update your permissions
within your device’s settings.
What types of personal
information do we collect?
Personal information is
provided by you when completing an application, form, or other requested
fields, and may include name, address, social security number, drivers’ license
number or other forms of identification, date of birth, phone numbers, account
numbers, email addresses, credit or income information, usernames, passwords,
and images of documents such as identification cards, checks, or statements. We
also collect information from your mobile device, such as IP addresses, browser
type, device type and operating system, sites visited on the Mobile App, date
and time of access, and identity of the referring site.
How do we use and share
personal information?
Personal information
collected from or about you may be used for many purposes, such as: delivering
products and services to you, allowing access to features and services within
the App, verifying your identity, contacting you, providing important
information about the App, processing applications for products and services, personalizing
your mobile experience, detecting and preventing fraud, providing
notifications, delivering marketing communications, and to perform analytics of
your use of the App.
Reasons we can share your
personal information with third party service providers include: for everyday
business purposes such as to facilitate the processing of your transactions, to
maintain your accounts, to respond to court orders and legal investigations, to
report to credit bureaus, for marketing purposes to offer our products and
services to you, for joint marketing with other financial companies, for our
affiliates everyday business purposes and to market to you. Some of this

To protect your personal
information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that
comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured
files and buildings.
