Q: What is digital banking?
A: Digital Banking is a tool that allows you to use a mobile device, tablet or personal computer with Internet access to conduct your banking online.
Q: What types of alerts can I set up in Digital Banking?
A: You can choose from Security Alerts, such as when your email address, username or password is changed. You can also set up Account Alerts for Account Transfers and Balance Notifications. Please note the Account Alerts are only sent once at 7am.
Q: How do I add an alert?
A: Log in to Digital Banking. Click Settings and select Alert Settings. You can update your contact information on this screen as well.
Q: What can I do with Digital Banking?
A: You can view account balances and transaction history, transfer money, view your eStatement and deposited items, pay your bills and download transactions to a personal financial manager and much more.
Q: When can I use Digital Banking services?
A: With Digital Banking, you have access to your account information 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
Q: Can I create my own password that is easy for me to remember?
A: Yes, you will create your own password during the digital banking registration process. Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length, with at least one upper case letter and one number. You can also change your password at any time by clicking Settings, then Update Password.
Q: What happens if I forget or lose my password?
A: You can reset your password yourself from the login box on the home page: click on Forgot Password and follow the prompts to have a code sent via text or phone call to get reset. If you become locked out of your account, click Unlock/Forgot Login.
Q: Is any of my personal information stored in the Digital Banking product?
A: Yes, the Digital Banking product stores your User ID, password and user preferences. All stored information is securely encrypted and will be authenticated as each customer logs into their personal Digital Banking account. We do not store information that is personal to each individual (name, social security number, etc.).
Q: How much account information can I view at once?
A: The system will automatically show the last 100 transactions. However, by using the 'Search transactions' field, you can also choose to view date ranges which will continue to expand with the history of your account. With eStatements, you can also access the last 24 months of account statements to print or download.
Q: How current is my banking information?
A: Your account information is updated every business day with the new transactions posted to your account from the previous business day. (Any pending items presenting on the current business day will display to you with appropriate date of memo post.)
Q: Can I view my account details in more than one way?
A: Yes, you can view your accounts by date, withdrawal/advance, amount, deposit/payment amount or balance in ascending or descending order.
Q: What formats can I download my transaction history in?
A: Digital Banking supports downloads to Quicken™, Quickbooks™ or as a comma-delimited file.
Q: How long can I be inactive before being logged out of the Digital Banking product?
A: The inactivity timeout is set for 30 minutes, this is currently not customizable.
Q: What is required to use the Digital Banking service?
A: All you need to use Digital Banking is a secure, updated browser such as Microsoft Edge® or Internet Explorer®, Mozilla Firefox®, Safari® or Google Chrome®. You can use any computer or device that has Internet access.
Q: Can I schedule future transfers between my Rhinebeck Bank accounts?
A: Yes. Click on Transfers & Payments once you have logged into your digital banking session. Click the 'Transfer Money' or ‘Loan Payment’ buttons and follow the prompts.
Q: How do I use Text Banking?
1. Log in to Rhinebeck Bank Digital Banking and select Settings
2. Click the Text Enrollment button
3. Move the switch to the right to enable Text Banking
4. Key your mobile number
5. Click to Agree to Terms
6. Click Save
